Purpose of the Job

- Driving Operating expense projects for efficiency build up & control governance around overall P&L.

- MIS Reporting & presentations to management

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities):

1. Driving Cost optimization projects :

- Leading Network & non-network cost projects

- Identifying Opex saving opportunity or replication of best practices of other circles

2. Driving/interaction with cross function teams & lead to organization goal:

- Leading the Cross-functional team for various Opex/Capex saving projects

- Close looping & timely monitoring of project progress

- Reporting of scorecards to various departments & tracking of Opex vs. AOP

3. Opex forecasting & analysis on cost-benefit analysis, capital productivity, Opex productivity :

- Monthly Opex forecasting, zero-based costing & improvement in Opex productivity

- Effective drive on Capex productivity & efficiency build up at Capex decisions

- Tracking fund flow & ensuring recovery of money in the market

4. Ad-hoc Analysis :

- Ad-hoc Analysis on individual cost line items & highlight inefficiencies.

Major Challenges :

- Identification of Opex opportunities, detailing of Opex.

- Candidate should be conversant with PPT & interaction with CFTs

- Quick decision making & positive attitude

Decision level :

1. Prime: Final Decision-Making authority, accountable to the Management

2. Shared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis

3. Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others

- Reports /Dashboards playing role in deep drill down.
