AirSeva - Team Lead - Cash Operations - CA

Specific responsibilities include

1. Oversee Cash Operations accountants on a day to day operations

2. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for accounting and analytical tools, and accounting and reconciliation systems

3. Review and approve daily and month-end journal entries including cash movements, merchant fees

4. Reviewing reporting, fluctuation analysis and reporting prepared by Cash Operations accountants

5. Review and certify month-end balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules

6. Review and sign off on monthly and quarterly controls

7. Collaborate with external parties, analysts on BI and payments product/engineering teams to investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies

8. Work directly with auditors and accountants to provide supporting documentation to meet audit deadlines

9. Continued work to enhance the Company's existing accounting procedures and internal controls while seeking opportunities to improve accounting operational efficiency and effectiveness

10. Assist with various ad hoc projects and ongoing efforts toward increased automation in monthly reporting

11. Assisting Cash Operations Manager with onboarding new processors and products

12. Owner of relationships with personnel at HQ (Cash Operations support, FST, GPO, BI) and processors)

Qualifications

1. 7-10 years of experience in Cash management and accounting.

2. 2-3 years of experience managing a team in a shared services role

3. CA degree is a must.

4. Experience managing numerous cash and GL accounts, denominated in various currencies, and a strong understanding of merchant fees

5. Strong understanding of US GAAP (CPA a strong plus)

6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and SQL

7. Systems experience: NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, Cash Reconciliation Tools and Tableau

8. Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and drive change across functional and business boundaries

9. Strong oral and written communication skills
