Summary As a technical manager you will be responsible for managing our web/portal and mobile application development strategy, design, delivery and deployment of our platforms for global markets. Expected to be hands-on on technology of front-end, back-end and DB services. Exposure to microservices development, building a secured platform for streaming services with frequent release management. Responsibilities - Experience in designing software systems such as website or ecommerce applications, software products and mobile app. leveraging various industry leading technologies - To design and develop cloud-based software product, web and mobile platforms leveraging microservices architecture - Should have experience in architecting a robust platform scalable to handled traffic of 100,000 to 1 M user accounts to support aggressive growth - Should have experience in building platforms to handle video streaming and hosting services, payment gateways and live screening tools. Good to have technical knowledge on video streaming optimization and load balancing tools - To design a robust platform with key security consideration for cloud, data, performance, vulnerability and load balancing - To build automation test scripts for faster release cycle, exposure to CI/CD preferred - Should have the competency to perform market research on new technology trends and new tools, assess vulnerabilities and provide directions for the team to adopt it - Should have exposure to developing platforms with multi-lingual capabilities - Manage multi-technology teams and deliver projects on Agile delivery framework - Championing and continuously improving the standards, processes, and practices within the dev. team, should be able to measure productivity, performance and track goals Technical skills required - Overall 12+ years of experience with minimum 5 years in agile delivery. Own, maintain, and prioritize team's product backlog(s); facilitate feature mapping, break features into stories, define acceptance criteria, ensure capacity for defects and continuous release - Should have experience in developing cloud hosted enterprise products on AWS. Know-how of Azure or G-cloud is good to have - Should have exposure to AI tool kits for building automation business use cases - Should have experience with following technical stack: - NodeJS, React, Web services XML/JSON, Java script/ AJAX/HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Redux, Angular JS, Bootstrap, App Orchestration, Storage/Blob - Should have development exposure to Rest based APIs and good knowledge on microservices framework - Manage end to end product development including CI/CD and code coverage, security etc - Exposure to business intelligence/analytics reporting tools is good to have - Should have experience in handling VAPT and other security testing activities - Exposure to handing IT vendor teams delivering technology projects
