Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver on aggressive growth and sales targets (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually) from existing channel partners
2. Develop relationships with management, sales heads and ground teams of channel partners to drive sales
3. Lead the field support team to accelerate channel partners' on-ground performance through local activation, training and problem-solving activities
4. As new channel partnerships emerge, work closely with the partner's management and ground teams to rapidly drive activation plans and create scale.
5. Responsible for providing intelligence on potential new account and support in closing key account acquisition
6. Establish him/herself as a trusted advisor and POC for the channel partners to handle operational issues
7. Take initiative in suggesting the sales activation plans and ground insights to marketing team and represent AgroStar in regional conferences, workshops and events
Specifications
1. Past experience of enterprise sales, channel sales and partnerships in rural finance, rural banking, microfinance, rural insurance and other rural distribution channels
2. Willingness to travel up to 50-70% of the time to metro cities, state capitals and rural areas
3. A hustler and empathetic person who can collaborate and execute the business fast
4. A storyteller who can connect with CXOs and a last mile farmer very well
5. Hands on experience with MS Excel or any other analytics tool
This position eventually transforms into a business head role over a period of time depending upon the performance and deliverables, so we need a person with entrepreneurial mindset, appetite to do more and learn fast.
