The Role : Senior Product Manager

You will be responsible for :

- Drive product strategy and define product roadmap through careful analysis of customer requirements, market and technology trends and competition.

- Own and drive well prioritised product and feature roadmap that balances metric movers, customer delights and customer asks.

- Write crisp product specs and user stories to be used in product development in collaboration with business, design, and development teams as required.

- Actively listen and connect with customers (current and potential) and their needs on a direct basis frequently.

- Solicit ideas for new products from others and contribute ideas for new products.

- Work with Engineering/Development team to make product trade-offs based on development feasibility / cost versus product / business impact

- Innovate and simplify by challenging the way things are done and develop solutions that make things easier.

- Maintain constant surveillance and awareness of the market and effectively identify customer needs and trends.

- Identify strengths and weaknesses of proposed products relative to the competition and anticipate competitive responses.

- Effectively coordinates and manages the launch of a new product.

- Responsible for carrying out integrations with the third party products and service offerings of partners identified, by acting as a bridge between the partners and AgroStar

- Lead Primary or Secondary research on various aspects of the product including product capability, source databases or sources of data as required from time to time

- Pull and analyze data from different self-serve internal sources, funnel data, key industry benchmarks, and emerging trends to deliver high-quality and actionable customer centric product/feature proposals and user stories

- Build hypotheses and validate them based on data, user surveys, and or by running small experiments quickly.

- Define and own success metrics to improve customer efficiency and effectiveness

- Obsess over problem solving, UX details and user centric design (mental models, storyboards, personas, contextual research, prototyping).

- Coach & mentor PMs, APMs and/or Product operations.

Qualifications we look for :

- A passionate product manager with 5 + years' experience in shipping end-to-end consumer products, a mobile app with 1 M user base at least.

- You need not have a tech background but must have ardent interest in current technology trends

- Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys taking end-to-end ownership o the product and work across stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives for the product

- Strong analytical skills, ability to define KPIs, KPI dashboards and success metrics.

- He/she should also be conversant with executing effective A/B tests for hypothesis testing.

- User Centric Thinking; You are obsessed about users ; you place yourself in the position of your users to make something amazing for them. You have driven user research and usability studies in the past and are ready to dive into existing app usage data to back hypothesis for development on these platforms

- Prioritization; The PM should be able to carry out effective prioritization of user-features balancing between user experience, business requirements and resourcing.

- Great interpersonal communication, both written and verbal. You'll be interacting regularly with our customers across the world, our sales team, managers and engineers

- You must have worked on products with end-to-end ownership

- You are a customer advocate, who works in understanding users through data and primary research and translates them to successful user facing features

- You love to collaborate and work closely with design, tech-teams, platform partners, marketing and brand teams and the core product team to bring the platform experience alive.
