Job description - Comprehend/analyse incidents/frauds mainly in corporate segment, and quickly charter an investigation plan to check various parameters to find the modus operandi, process lapses, integrity issues of various personnel and recommend corrective action - Prepare reports and presentations as per corporate standards providing all details of the fraud/incident, the causes, investigation findings, conclusions and recommendations to enable the Senior Management to take quick timely decisions - Lead and participate in special projects/initiatives - innovate and implement large scale quality improvements to processes and/or systems by conducting data analysis and making recommendations and refining processes - Manage fraud risks with implementing the best in class forensic tools and processes - Analyze various frauds in corporate/retail banking and translate them to solutions on prevention, detection and investigation - Review processes across functions and design red flags. Analyse data to identify the vulnerable areas and recommend preventive actions - Develop and maintain fraud management capabilities, skills and infrastructure that are in compliance with internal policies as well as external regulations - Plan and conduct training on Fraud Awareness for diverse groups Other skill sets - Understanding of current and emerging issues in the banking sector. Knowledge of industry wide solutions for fraud prevention, detection and investigations and good networking abilities - Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate for implementation of fraud preventive and detective mechanisms at various levels. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Act quickly and decisively when any fraud in the industry or risk/control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within appropriate timeframe and escalated through the top management - Knowledge of RBI/SEBI/FATF regulations as well as KYC/AML guidelines/standards
