AGM - R&D - CPVC/UPVC Plastic Pipes & Fittings

Required Experience : 7 to 10 years of experience in processing & testing of CPVC/UPVC plastic pipes and fittings

Required Qualification : MTech or BTech (Polymer Eng/Polymer Tech) from UDCT, Mumbai or CIPET or any other reputed institute

Job Description :

- The person will be responsible for evaluating the raw materials & additives as per the applicable standard test methods

- The person will be responsible for the testing of the final products (FG) as per applicable standard test methods.

- The person will be responsible for visiting the customers, understanding their needs and resolves the issues.

- The person will be responsible for training the Customers & plumbers for correct usage of the product.

- The person will be responsible for formulation control, new vendor development leads to cost reduction of CPVC/ UPVC pipes and fittings

- The person will be responsible for quality up gradation of existing products and development new products.

- The person will be responsible for developing new products and Process optimization as per requirement and direction from Top management.

- The person will be responsible for formulation control of CPVC/UPVC pipes and fittings.

- The person will be responsible for development of new methods for characterization/ in process development.

- The person will be responsible for developing and carrying out cost reduction in CPVC/UPVC pipes and fitting.

- The person will be responsible for the development of new techniques for pipes joining

- The person will work for the improvement in quality management system.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Track records of good knowledge in CPVC/ UPVC based pipes and fittings.

- Track records of good knowledge in different polymers and their properties.

- Very good knowledge on the different additives used and role each additives. Person should have

- knowledge in source of RM used for CPVC and UPVC

- Chemistry and role of solvent cements used for CPVC and UPVC

- Data capturing and analysis to identify the root cause for any process issue

- Sound fundamental knowledge in polymers and inclination to solve problems resulting from process.

- Communicate with passion, energy and intensity.

- Strong leadership qualities
