Position - AGM Paints - Purchase

Location - Mumbai

Department - Paints

Reporting to - Management

Qualification - Chemical Engineering + MBA ( SCM)

Responsibility:

- Provide Cost leadership in all the purchases to provide GWIL a competitive advantage year on year

- In line with agreed production plans, arrange raw material, CAPEX to ensure achievement of production targets /expansion plans

- Ensure best quality, best delivery time and optimum price in all purchases year on year

- Ensure no production loss because of unavailability of any material

- Continuous Development of robust suppliers as well as alternate suppliers for critical items

- Studying the Global/Local Raw material trend and according and readjusting purchasing Strategy for our best adavantage

- Manage over all Supply Chain functions including Inventory Management, Vendor Development, Logistics, etc.

- Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage rejections, quality initiative, timely delivery, credit terms, etc.

- Guide vendors for improving process efficiency.

- Also Handle Non BOM/One-time purchases in optimum manner
