FUNCTIONAL AREAS:

H.R. FUNCTIONS:

- Developing HR Manual, HR Policies & Procedures, Employee Hand Book. Improvement of various HR systems & documentation of all processes including flow charts.

- Designing of Associate Handbook

- Review the policy and amend the redundant policies.

- Forecasting the supply of manpower and matching the demand and supply with the help of various recruitment sources keeping in mind the employment life cycle using Redeploy - Acquire - Optimize strategy.

- Initiating Skill Evaluation Plan for Employees, thereby identifying the training needs, designing Annual Training Calendar, developing modules, contents and role plays for soft skills training programs. Establishing and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of Training and Development.

- Imparting orientation training to the Executives on BSC and KRA's/ KPI's evaluation. Implementing performance Management System which is aligned to the business and also support the overall organizational goals.

- Conducting discussions with the functional heads for calibration of performance ratings as per the guidelines, Potential Matrix and Identification and revalidation of Top Talents.

- Development and implementation of an Annual Objective Program viz Goal Setting Exercise, conducting Half yearly reviews etc. Processing Appraisal rating - Bell Curve, adhering to Budget, rolling out Increment/ Promotion Letters.

- Initiating and Implementing Talent Development & Pipeline Succession Plan for all Key Positions of the Company.

- Collecting information regarding Compensation from different sources to continuously align the organization compensation strategy with the market. Finalization of Annual Increments and issuing of Increment & promotion letters.

- Participating in the Compensation surveys launched by the leading HR consultants.

- Preparation of Annual Incentive Scheme linked with the Production & Sales Associates and disbursement of Incentive

- Designing & Implementation of Reward & Recognition Schemes for Employees

- Responsible for the roll out of various employee engagement activities like, Birthday celebrations, employee contests, employee newsletters, celebration of milestones

- Developing & implementing appropriate Communication Channels for employees to voice their suggestions, Grievances viz open House Sessions, Internal Employee Magazine, and Employee Satisfaction Surveys etc. Designing Reward & Recognition Schemes for Employees

- Conducting HR Audit for the Company and drawing up the compliances for betterment of processes

- Developing HR team for facilitating employees and cross functional operations.

HR Operations:

- Responsible for the entire employee life cycle of the Associates of all the businesses.

- Manage employee relations

- Discipline Management (issue of show causes, handling enquiries, Disciplinary Action etc)

- To handle employee grievances

- Regular dialogue with Functional Heads and Employees through open house sessions/ Skip Level Meetings/ Speak up forum/Meet the CEO.

- Responsible for Welfare of employees

- Monthly/ Quarterly Management Review reports and presentations

- Preparation of Transfer Letters, relieving letters, salary certificates, confirmation letters, etc. Authorized signatory for signing all the letters

- Exit formalities and conducting exit interviews and attrition analysis

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS:

- To handle Voluntary Retirement Scheme successfully.

- To handle multi Unions, strikes, making settlements viz 18(1), 12(3) etc

- To maintain Harmonious Industrial Relations & conducting negotiations with the Unions including grievance handling.

- Representing Management and presenting the Company's cases in Conciliation/Arbitration Proceedings /Labor Court in an effective / suitable manner. Made 12(3) and 18(1) agreement with Unions.

- To handle IR issues at shop floor level & Negotiations / Collective Bargaining.

- To advise Management and labor/union representatives in development, application, and interpretation of labor relations policies and practices, according to policy formulated by Management.

- Assist various Authorities in the discharge of personnel function, attending to disciplinary action & departmental enquiry cases, conciliation proceedings, negotiations with union etc.

- To handle litigation matters arising out of Employment laws / Labour laws issues & conciliation proceedings.

- Networking and effective coordination with external agencies like Contractors, Local Authorities etc.

- Ensure statutory compliance as per labor enactments and compliance of statutory checklist.

- To create IR related awareness and setting up trainings, seminars, safety, health camps for workers at plants/ offices.

- To handle Welfare functions viz Canteen, Officers Mess, Colonies, conducting cultural programs etc.

- Coordinating with Safety Committee members for ensuring overall safety for the personnel working at Site/Plant.
