AGM - Packaging Development - Food Safety

Position : AGM -Packaging Development

Function : Supply Chain Management

Reporting to : SVP - Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities and Result Areas :

1) Lead packaging development initiatives for all the brands

2) Liaise with various brands to understand the packaging requirements and work with Procurement Team/vendors to offer solutions to meet the requirements of design at optimal costs.

3) Explore the various susbstrate and alternates available for various packaging SKUs.

4) Proactively work to eliminate single use plastics and develop solutions.

5) Continuously get feedback from market and improve quality of packaging by reviewing specifications to develop packaging solutions for channels like "home Deliveries"

6) Support new product launches by designing & developing packaging

7) Work along with procurement Team to develop alternate vendors for existing packaging.

Key Skills Requirement :

1) A seasoned professional in packaging development with good work experience.

2) Exposure and knowledge of various substrates/packaging formats and their cost structures.

3) Solid knowledge of Food Safety packaging and compliance requirements

4) High level of maturity & inter-personal skills
