AGM - Operations - Rail Logistics Firm

We are currently presenting a captivating opening within a leading MNC logistics organization. The position is for the role of "AGM Rail Logistics Operations"

Job Purpose : To manage the overall auto wagon business P&L through Leading, developing and implement strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ownership and accountability for Auto wagon business P & L. Business target achievements, Invoice & POD Management.

- Preparing annual budget and setting up resources to achieve it. Achieving set KPIs and SLAs.

- Look into various customer requirements in terms of volume, destinations, services etc. and propose strategy to expand business.

- Planning and coordinate with Railway authorities for cargo movement. Ensuring administrative activities and documentation are done as per timelines.

- Maintain business relation with existing customers and develop new customer relations inline with business expansion requirements.

- Managing operational performance, productivity, and quality services. Ensure Quality and SOPs are maintained and adhered.

- Development of required vendors and coordinating with existing vendors for first mile / last mile, loading /offloading, rail coordination, financial purpose Etc.

- Manpower planning and execution for smooth business operations Training & development of staff including succession planning.

Skills required :

1. Previous experience in handling container rail operations and preferably handling cars / vehicles.

2. Customer relation within auto sector

3. Analytical skills for problem solving

4. Strong administrative skills

5. Strong Financial acumen

6. Team Management
