AGM - IT Infrastructure - Procurement

The role requires working as part of the Corporate Finance department and closely with IT, Finance, Procurement and Business teams to work on analysis and validating the IT spend of the organization from time to time for its global needs.

- The person would be responsible for analyzing current spend and suggesting cost effective mechanisms to validate and optimize the same.

- The person would help in validating the procurement of IT infrastructure requirements.

- The role also requires involvement in the budgeting for IT infrastructure.

Qualification: B. Tech/B.E.

Job Description:

- Work on Validation of IT infrastructure spend of the organization globally.

- Work as part of the Finance organization but suggest ways to optimize the spend on various IT components. Suggest CFO organization on necessary vs desired spends.

- Help in planning for IT spends over a period of time.

- Evaluate IT infrastructure architecture and costs for new/expansion facilities across the globe.

- Work with procurement teams in the negotiations during IT procurement cycle

- Identify optimal technical components to deliver the required IT infrastructure.

- Ensure identification standard IT infrastructure across the organization in line with market and best practices.

- Identify ways to consolidate or reshape IT infra capex spend to increase cost effectiveness.

- Work with the IT and purchasing team to deploy a cost effective IT infrastructure.

- Work on budgeting aspects of IT infrastructure.

- Deep Understanding of IT Infrastructure Architecture.

- Deep understanding of best practices from market perspective or organization of similar size and scale.

- Understanding of various components of IT infrastructure, products and newer technologies.

- Exposure to IT environment of larger organization and international environment.

- Able to work independently.

- Effective Communication Skills.
