Business Development & Planning:
- Tap profitable business opportunities and position product as per market needs from time to time.
- Introduce new products from time to time depending upon market demand and plan accordingly to source the products from different origins.
- Identify agents/distributor and manage distribution networks in domestic as well as international markets resulting in deeper market penetration and reach.
- Manage different aspects of business like preparing annual business plan, implementation of business plan and sales forecasting.
- Negotiate strategic foreign tie ups for enhancing business opportunities with overseas agent, distributors & suppliers.
- Create strong sourcing as well as sales team at origin and destination markets.
- Organise & participate in trade fairs and exhibitions
- Ensure achievement of Business Plan for exports of food & ingredients brands within the assigned international market/ geography specially America and Europe
- Manage and grow business with existing importers-distributors within the assigned geography for all categories & brands
- New Business Development
- Take new categories to existing markets, and Add new markets by identifying and firming up new selling arrangements in unsupervised countries within the assigned geography.
- Onboard new importer-distributors to conform to expected standards
- Track and monitor primary and secondary sales
