Position Title: Assistant General Manager (AGM) / General Manager (GM) - Human Resources & Administration

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Santhal Location)

Experience: 15-18 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources and Administration roles

- Compensation & Benefits: Highly competitive compensation package with a CTC in the range of - 18-22 lacs per annum, commensurate with experience. Attractive benefits including health insurance, retirement planning, leave entitlements, and more.

Age Criteria: 35 to 40 years

Preferred Industry Background: Engineering, with a strong preference for experience in the Electrical or Automation products space

Reporting: This role will report directly to and partner closely with the Director / CEO

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Human Resources leader to join our team as the Assistant General Manager (AGM) / General Manager (GM) - Human Resources & Administration. In this critical role, you will be a strategic partner in driving organizational excellence through effective talent management, employee engagement, and administrative leadership. You will spearhead the implementation of best-in-class HR systems, policies, and practices, while overseeing HR operations and aligning job descriptions with evolving business needs. Additionally, you will lead talent acquisition initiatives across India and our global locations, ensuring a pipeline of top talent to fuel our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & HR Strategy:

- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies tailored to the engineering and automation technology sectors

- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, ensuring a seamless and exceptional candidate experience

- Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and proactively address talent requirements

- Continuously optimize recruitment processes, leveraging data-driven approaches and technology solutions

- Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling recruitment marketing campaigns

HR Operations & Employee Relations:

- Provide strategic guidance and support across HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits

- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices

- Conduct new employee onboarding and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

Learning & Development:

- Identify training needs through skills assessments and design robust learning programs to facilitate employee growth and organizational success

Employee Engagement & Welfare:

- Foster a positive and engaging work environment by organizing employee welfare activities, events, and initiatives

- Promote a culture of recognition, work-life balance, and employee well-being

General Administration & Coordination:

- Oversee labor force management, facilities, payroll, and timekeeping processes

- Liaise with consultants and government authorities on administrative matters, ensuring regulatory compliance

- Coordinate travel arrangements, hotel bookings, and transportation as required

- Implement ERP and other initiatives to streamline and enhance administrative processes

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

- 15-18 years of progressive leadership experience in HR and Administration roles

- Proficiency in utilizing job portals, HRMIS software, and social media platforms for recruitment

- Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and employee relations best practices

- Expertise in performance management, compensation, benefits administration, and talent development

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

- Ability to lead and inspire teams through change and continuous improvement initiatives
