It provides clients with a wide array of on-site services.

Designation:Assistant General Manager – Diversity

Reports To: Vice President – Human Resources

Span of Control: PAN Inda

Location: Any base of Sodexo

Exp:5-20 years

Role Description:

- Influencing our Network Group executive sponsors for optimal outcomes, interacting with Network Group Leadership teams to ensure their related events and activities are aligned with companies mission and overall
Diversity Strategy, developing initiatives to continue advancing our Network Group Model, and increasing volunteers within the chapters

- Providing internal and external benchmarking for Network Group practices and D&I best practices

- Communicating our Network Groups’ progress internally, measuring and reporting out Network Group ROI, and to mitigate any risk associated with planned events, and record keeping for network groups, including budgets and communications

- Proactively identify potential areas of risk relative to Network Group activities and work with Global Director to outline action plans to address and mitigate any negative consequences

- Provide leadership for monthly conference calls with the Network Group Chairs, and periodic updates with Executive sponsors to include appropriate notification and follow-up

- Develop, ensuring timely updates and accuracy of content to support the ongoing functioning of chapters in accordance with company policies and Ethics code

- Lead the staff diversity training program developed by the Global Director, as a principal trainer and coordinate all logistics and trainers etc.

- Participate in the TTT for diversity training and recommend volunteers who will be trainers in the regions

- Ensure all diversity training is scheduled and communicated to the appropriate levels of management and rosters and evaluation forms are maintained

- Revive and promote regional diversity teams and ensure their input and energy are harnessed for the company D&I environment

- Prepare presentations for Global Director and communicate with Office of Diversity if needed for documents and other resources

- Manage the gender task force project in all regions, compiling data collected to identify trends/challenges and help develop appropriate recommendations to be made to the CEO on creating a more gender friendly
workplace

- Coordinate special projects and department events, as assigned

In addition:

- Ability to work effectively with diverse exempt and non-exempt staff, including executive level individuals and persons representing external corporate, government, industry and community organizations

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to work on projects of high complexity with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team; ability to plan projects, develop milestones, identify risks and proven completion

- Strong internal and external networking skills

- Exceptional relationship building skills

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to mediate conflicts and to build consensus with diverse stakeholders

- Strong facilitation, coaching and influencing skills.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; strong business writing skills

- Proficiency in MS Office software, particularly MS Word and MS PowerPoint; MS Excel

- Fluency in English and Hindi/ or local languages preferred

- Ability to travel within India potentially around 40%
