AGM/GM/AVP - IT Procurement

Position Title - Head IT Procurement

Reporting To - President - Commercial & IT

Job Purpose:

To ensure that end to end Material Planning, Ordering, Procurement and Supply is done to enable Business Continuity.

This role develops procurement policies and procedures that drive cost-effective practices and ensures organization- wide compliance.

Key Deliverables

1. To identify and define Type, Volume, Rate, Frequency of products and services required. Type will be like Project related, one time Consumables, Steady State Services requirements.

2. To project requirements of products and services in discussion with business with Scope, Specifications and Rate Validations.

3. To design process for fast moving consumables, their re-order points and considering the inventory carrying cost identification.

4. To identify Vendors, development and performance appraisal.

5. To finalize Price and Commercial terms to deliver the product/service as per requirement at lowest cost.

6. To ensure the deliveries of material and service as per business requirement.

7. To define end to end procurement schedule/process and put efforts to optimize the same.

8. To ensure Contract Management, review to improve the productivity and to build the process for the same.

9. To Manager Vendor Performance - Build the process and implement in organization.

10. To validate the need, optimize, to improve cost and product/services utilization.

- Must possess strong Leadership & team player qualities, excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

- Personal authority and integrity with proven ability to establish relationships and exert influence with all key stakeholders

- Strong functional Domain expertise, robust ethics and resilience.

Knowledge:-

- Knowledge of IT platforms, software trends, future technologies and AMC related issues.

- Technically sound, Hands on CRM, Clarity, TIBCO, Mediation, PACE, etc

Years of Experience: 12-15 years experience, with 5 - 6 years in respective domain.

Educational Qualification: BE / BTech / CA / ICWA / MBA
