Job Purpose : Salary Budget: Max 33 LPA - Liase with functional teams to collate and aggregate data and prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts - Prepare Operations Dashboard on key financial metrics - Prepare a long term business plan, highlighting the movement of key indicators like Net Sales, EBITDA, etc. by taking direction from the Annual Budget and inputs from senior management. - Analyze the goodwill position for historical investments made and assess the extent to which it is to be impaired. - Basis research and analysis, carry out industry wide benchmarking of key financial metrics as part of a peer group comparison in order to identify focus areas and areas of improvement. Key Job Responsibilities and KPIs Key Job Responsibilities : Functional / Technical / Process : - Annual Budget Preparation - Share standard templates with functional teams for capture of granular targets as part of the bottom up planning exercise - Collate and aggregate the budgetary details received from the functional teams. Present the preliminary aggregated budget to superior - Where required, liase with functional teams for iterations to budget basis a change in input, assumptions or rationale in order to align with management expectations. - Submit the revised budget to superior for review - Long Term Business Plan Development - Review the Annual Budget to understand the immediate targets across key functions for the next year - Hold discussions with senior corporate management to understand strategic business priorities, expected growth trends, etc. - Collate all inputs, assumptions and rationale and develop a preliminary Long-Term Business Plan - Present the same to superior for review and make necessary iterations Customer : - Monthly Operations Dashboard - Regional Contribution - Schedule and coordinate meetings with Region Heads on a monthly basis for review of performance against the budget and forecast - Organize the data to present key insights regarding region wise deviations from target (with trends, if any), root cause analysis, areas of improvement, etc. Investor Relations : - Handle the information / clarification requirement with respect to Local Investors / US Corporate during quarterly filings / adhoc requests IBS Portfolio : - Track IBS as a separate portfolio and Capture all actual performance data and compute the necessary KPI scores. Compare the actual performance against KPI targets and prepare a presentation on a monthly basis. Financial Analytics : - Identify and analyze areas of improvement in business with the goal to carry out detailed analysis around these and present to senior management. Clearly lay out a roadmap for putting best practices in place for shortcomings - Quarterly Forecasting Review Process - Map the actual performance against the Annual Budget on a quarterly basis. - In addition to the Annual Budget, share templates with functional teams for preparation of the Quarterly Forecast. Collate and aggregate data from the functional teams and share the Quarterly Forecast with superior for review People : - Guidance to Functional Teams in Budget and Forecast Preparation - Guide the functional teams in populating the data templates during the budgeting and forecasting process. Address queries / concerns, if any. Key Performance Indicators : - Accuracy of reporting to management (% of instances where errors were identified in the analysis) - % of Metrics with Formal Link to Strategic Objectives - Adherence to SLAs for response to pricing approvals - Adherence to SLAs in Bid Management - Number of Calendar Weeks to Complete Long Term Business Plan (Count) - Average Number of Open Projects / Cr. of Revenue - Annual Number of New Projects / Cr. of Revenue - Adherence to SLAs for response to capex / opex / revenue proposal approvals
