- Qualified CA (Cleared both groups in 1st attempt - Preffered) Responsibilities :&nbsp; -To Ensure Proper Financial, Accounting, Costing, Taxation &amp; Insurance Objectives are met, activities are carried out and Plant Profitability Budgeted for, Monitored and then Ensured - To Liaise with Concerned Authorities to mitigate risks and create opportunities for better and sustained operations - To Continually Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our systems, processes and our human resource in the accountable functional areas and beyond! - Fund Management: Monitoring cash flow transactions and projecting cash requirements for future; arranging disbursement of fund through co-ordination with banks and financial institutions. Budgeting : Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected &amp; actual results to be followed up with corrective actions. Divisional and Profit Centre Budgeting. It included allocation of costs to various profit centres, Half Yearly and Quarterly forecasts, Monthly Projections, variance&nbsp;analysis - Determining financial objectives of the business vertical and designing &amp; implementation as per revision - Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department - Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements - Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close - Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. - Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. - Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports. - Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures. - Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues. - Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls. - Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures. - Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent and competent authority.
