AGM/DGM/Senior Manager - Supply Chain Management - Infrastructure Projects

We are retained by a large Indian conglomerate to recruit for positions in SCM department for their Infrastructure Division (Highways/Roads and Water Business). Details for your reference are furnished below

Location : Ahmedabad

Job Objective :

Develop sourcing strategies and procurement guidelines for the assigned spend categories to enable cost effective and timely procurement, thereby meeting specifications of quality, timelines within the stipulated budgetary requirements

Job Profile

- 14+ years of relevant experience with category management supporting initiatives within designated areas

- Minimum 6+ years experienced in Highways or Water/Sewage Treatment Plant/Desalination Projects

- Exposure to strategic sourcing processes, negotiating terms and conditions of high impact supply or service contracts, and managing vendor or supplier relationships

- Experience in working with eProcurement systems and tools (SAP and other financial reporting tools, contract management tool, reverse auctions, etc.)

- Knowledge of the overall purchasing process, strategic sourcing, and procurement related systems and supplier relationship management

- Hands-on experience in executing contracts and entering into commercial transactions for Capital Goods of medium / large size Infrastructure projects, Estimation and Cost Engineering

- Exposure to bidding and estimation activities

- Commercial understanding of the business drivers and their commercial implications

- Preferable to have worked in similar organizations

Basis the type of Category/ Categories, knowledge and experience of Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil procurement may be required

Educational Qualification - Bachelor's degree in engineering and Diploma in supply chain management/ economics/ finance/ operations, or a related area
