We have job opening for the post of "Assistant/Deputy General Manager – Operational Excellence (OPEX)" with our client company. Our client company is a technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company. It is one of the largest and most respected companies in India's private sector.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Primary:
- Will be responsible to provide leadership, conceptual solutions, develop models for the Operational Excellence team.
- Engage with Top management & help develop competitive operational strategy for the business
- Influence top management thinking and decision making towards realizing OPEX & business goals
- Mentor managers & team members
- Drive the OPEX practice to achieve high degree of maturity and capability
- Develop models, solutions and best practices for specific industries / vertical in operational excellence
Secondary:
- Assess and monitor the engagements of OPEX team at client sites from initiation to delivery to ensure service quality, client satisfaction and benefits
- Champion change efforts and model behaviors associated with continuous improvement. Recommend changes to policies and / or establish procedures to improve operations
- To develop business for OPEX team to increase their footprint across L&T landscape
- To attend critical review meetings within businesses and influence actions / decisions towards achieving operational excellence
Areas of Exposure/ Work Background: EPC Projects – Power, Hydrocarbons, Infrastructure (Roads, Railways, Metros, Bridges & flyovers etc.), Transmission lines, Substations & Industrial Electrification, Construction (Heavy Civil, Buildings & Factories, Water & Solar)
Manufacturing – Heavy Engineering Fabrication, Ship building, Electrical Switchgear, Control & Automation, Construction Equipment, Process Valves
Consulting – Operational Excellence
