AGM/DGM/Lead - Analytics - Construction Firm

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, manage, and mentor a team of 10 Data Analyts/Scientists and Machine

-Learning Engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of a self-service analytics dashboards and platforms that enable rapid co-creation, testing, and deployment of ML models.

- Be the evangelist within the IRM business and enable the orgzniation to recognize value from data/AI

- Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI models to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and outcomes across the entire funnel. This includes co-creation of use cases with Business stakeholders, ideation, model development, validation, and implementation.

- Champion Data/AI practices across the organization, ensuring models are designed, implemented, and used in a fair, transparent, and accountable manner.

- Lead discussions and actions around data privacy, algorithmic bias, transparency, and other associated topics.

- Develop new algorithms for novel AI/NLP/ML solutions. Develop strong AI / ML and emerging technologies skills in the team to build solutions that can be productized and launched.

- Implement AI tools to optimize operational efficiency across the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop AI solutions that drive improvement. Foster a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the use of AI in decision-making processes.

- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to dvelop the business AI strategy and goals, ensuring alignment with the broader business objectives.

- Keep abreast of emerging AI/NLP and Data Science solutions, Data/AI trends, Platforms, applications, and best practices, and advise on potential adoption to drive competitive advantage

- Be able to explain complex models to non-experts, in layperson terminology to stakeholders and managers, while also being able to discuss intricacies of complex algorithms with experts in the field

Key Responsibilities : A commodity trading analytics lead is responsible for developing and implementing data- driven analytics to improve the operational efficiency and profitability of the IRM business. Analytics lead crucial role in bridging the gap between quantitative analysis and trading applications.

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Deep understanding of commodity markets, including supply and demand factors, global trade flows, and geopolitical risks.

- Understanding of financial markets, including derivatives, risk management, and pricing models.

- Familiarity with various trading strategies, such as technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and quantitative trading

Experience :

- About 10+ years of Data Engineering and Analytics experience

- About 5-7 years of successful technology leadership experience at an enterprise level within a company or as a consultant

- Ability to build financial models to analyze the profitability of trading strategies.

- Familiarity with machine learning techniques can be used to develop predictive models for commodity prices

- Hands-on knowledge of current technology standards/trends coupled with a desire to continually expand personal knowledge/skills

- Ability and interest in mentoring technical staff and raising our collective technical competencies

- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with other business and technology leaders
