Purpose of the Position ( Major purpose why this role exists in the organization) :

This position is responsible for :

- Ensuring practice of all financial systems and processes and their compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements at KP plant

- Ensuring smooth functioning of all commercial and other related activities in Purchase, Stores and Dispatches at KP Plant

- Facilitating finalization of Budgets, allocation of financial resources and monitoring actual spends

- Ensuring finalization of Books on Accounts within time without qualifying remarks by Auditors for the plant

Detailed Responsibilities (Major responsibilities of this position in the space provided below) :

- Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances related to accounting and deposition of taxes and duties to avoid penal notices or demands

- Supervising plans in order to ensure efficient operations within approved budgets

- Managing and supervising purchase and storage of raw materials, spares, consumables and capital items for the plant

- Monitoring commercial planning & coordination of the Plant and ensuring the storage and issue of the right quantity of raw materials, spares and consumables at the right time

- Ensuring dispatches of finished goods as per delivery instructions from HO

- Ensuring finalization of Books on Accounts within time without qualifying remarks by Auditors

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with appropriate level of statutory /regulatory Authorities

- Identifying and proposing process changes and introduction of effective MIS which enable effective decision making

- Directing and supervising regular coordination and liaison with all user departments and compilation of necessary MIS reports/ documentation and submission within schedule

- Providing guidance to all the personnel in the departments in order to upgrade their skills and knowledge

- Setting priorities for functions reporting to the position for reduction in costs by establishing adequate budgetary controls

- Assist in preparing the Financial budget of the plant
