INDUSTRY - MANUFACTURING

WORKING EXPERIENCE- 10-15 years

SHIFT - GENERAL

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION - Bachelor's degree (preferably an engineer) with full time / part time MBA in Finance or Costing Certification like ICWA

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Exposure to SAP/ERP is a must

- High levels of Proficiency in Microsoft excel, PowerPoint

- Analytical mindset with hands-On experience in procurement MIS

- Excellent presentation skills required

- Preparation of budgets, budget controls, both Capex & Opex

- MIS Reports on expenses, monthly Operational expenses-both fixed, variable expenses

- Excellent communication skills-written/spoken

- Good in controls of monthly budget forecast Vs actual, varience analysis

OPERATIONAL

- Negotiate with existing vendors including private sector suppliers & PSU suppliers & purchase.

- Accountable for all commercial aspects of engagement with multiple strategic suppliers (looking at existing contracts - analysis, negotiation, governance and closure - to deliver greater rights)

- Accountable for ensuring strategic objectives are aligned to each commercial deal

Managing teams

- Provision of all commercial deliverables (eg negotiation plan, contract risk analysis, benefits analysis and contract creation and closure)

- Managing complex contracts

- Identify and implement opex-saving opportunities

- In-depth knowledge of negotiation strategies and risk/value analysis

- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve performance in all aspects of business operations

- Managing the budget for an organization's commercial operations, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and other costs associated with providing services

- A commercial operations manager oversees the financial aspects of a company's operations. They must be able to create and manage budgets for various departments and operations. This requires knowledge of financial terminology and how to create and manage budgets.

- Preparing & presenting monthly MIS to Management

- Co-ordinate with internal (Production / R&D / Maintenance / Sales, Stores, etc.) & external persons/companies (Customs / CHA / Banks / Govt. Authorities / Auditors etc.)
