Program Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units/ Geographies. Manage resources, schedules, financials and quality of deliverables throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The Program Manager/Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. Exp: 10 - 15 Years Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business/ Geographies - Define and balance between waterfall and agile projects. - Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones - First time right: Have an attitude of first time right delivery of project. Full project life cycle ownership: which will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously - Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives or be scrum master/orchestrator for agile projects - Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities - Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization - Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project - Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings - Provide/Collect status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership - Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues - Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverable - Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle - Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication - Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques - Act as coach to team members to deliver value to the business successfully Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience - 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects - 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment - 3+ years of experience with full product life-cycle with understanding of development life-cycle and various technology methodologies that support that life-cycle - Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective - Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall - Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations - Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands - Tools: MS Office toolset, MS Project, JIRA - Experience in Agile project roll outs is mandatory - Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close (an ERP implementation is an advantage) - Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management - Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment - Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies - Support diverse and inclusive work environment
