Agile Delivery Manager - Financial Services - Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.

Background:

We are working with a global consulting firm and a leading MNC bank to support the establishment of an in-house agile project delivery and consulting centre of excellence in Chennai.

The MNC bank has established a in-house delivery capability to support global projects across the bank. This is a high skilled team that can be utilised by internal project sponsors for key IT, Tech and Digital projects. The team is made up of a mixture of full time and independent talent to allow for changing volume of demand and enable the business to ramp and down capacity as necessary. The key driver for the establishment of this COE is to increase delivery certainty, currently they are able to execute but do not have the confidence in their abilities around meeting timelines, control over budgets, risks and issue management and effective stakeholder management (MD level sponsors).

Projects are typically 6-12 months in duration.

The opportunity:

This is an opportunity for an immediate deployment onto a large transformation programme for an initial 6-month contract. In addition, you will become a member of a select panel of high-quality independent talent that the client will engage for future projects. Being in this curated pool you'll have access to a pipeline of projects and build a long term relationship with both the bank and consulting firm.

Expertise required:

- Experience in deploying scaled Agile Principles, Practices and Frameworks

- Experience in handling business leaders & stakeholders

- Prior experience in leading end to end Change

- Building High-Performance teams

- Evidence-based management (Using empirical data / metrics to facilitate maturity)

- Product Mindset

- Facilitating Scaled Ceremonies and Governance

- Proficiency in ADO (must be tool savvy)

- Training and Workshop delivery

- Good Influencing and persuasion/negotiation skills

This is a 6-month contractual opportunity. The selected consultant would be required to work onsite in either Chennai or Bangalore for the entirety of the project.
