Job Description :
- As a hands-on Agile Coach, you lead by example and mentor Agile Teams .You collaborate directly with leadership and the teams to influence them on Lean-startup, Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery methods.
- You have the ability to achieve sustainability and improve the speed of innovation
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- You drive the focus of the teams to solve for the user first.
- You effectively facilitate and help the team understand the rationale (values and principles) behind agile methods.
- You create a culture of safe-fail experimentation where the team can experiment, learn and grow beyond the standard agile practices, and improve predictability.
- You help the team with product discovery practices - right from drafting the hypothesis to running the experiments to capturing insights to building a user story map; you lead by example.
- You successfully create self-organized and empowered teams that are self-reliant. You help them set up custom process that works for the team.
- You adopt a collaborative approach to decision-making on teams.
- You encourage the team's thinking and use techniques like Value Stream Maps, Five Whys, A3, etc. to identify and highlight bottlenecks.
- You emerge as the leader and the voice of the team, shielding them from external interference and promote a healthy collaborative culture.
- You create a framework for the team to record and surface important and relevant data about the team's performance by using techniques like information radiators to build informative workplaces.
- You are a hands-on coach in all aspects of agile daily stand-up meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes :
- Strong depth and breadth of knowledge in different areas of Agile.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Fair understanding of Safe fail, value stream maps, agile engineering practices, Devops, etc.
- Product understanding in the mobile space. Up-to-date with latest technology trends, depth in mobile technology is a plus. Experience working in product development organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of software development life-cycle and several software development methodologies.
- Practical, hands-on experience with Evolutionary Architecture, TDD and BDD and clean code practices.
- Expert in XP.
- Expertise in scrum practices such as sprint planning, user story development and release planning.
- Experience in mentoring and building teams around scrum concepts.Ability to coach a tech heavy team on scrum and XP practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, facilitation,presentation and training skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Aspires to grow more on tech side of product development.
