Fees, Charges & Billing (FCB) Background Fees, Charges and Billing (FCB) is a discrete programme within the Core Modernization Initiative. The current platform has multiple applications that service the requirement. The fragmentation of the customer proposition across these platforms is undesirable and the applications carry high maintenance cost and are difficult to support or change. All present high complexity, they have limitations in the product proposition. The new platform will deliver a fees and charges calculation application which will enable changes to the charging proposition as data configuration as opposed to a technology-driven change. The platform will support rules based differentiation of charges by customer segment and channel and the flexibility to support emerging strategy on overdraft and unpaid charging. Modernization of the FCB platform will achieve 5 key outcomes: Enhanced Customer Experience, Reducing Operational Risk, and Improve Operational efficiency and reduces costs, Increased Agility and Improved ability to connect to the FinTech ecosystem. The FCB proposition has been through a RFI process. The next stage is to support a proof of concept phase with two vendors before progressing to RFP with a selected vendor. There is also a consolidation exercise to be carried out on the legacy platforms. The goal of which is to bring earlier business benefit and to simplify the eventual implementation roadmap of the new package. Business Analyst Work in Agile sprints with the business to : - Define scope - Define EPICS and User Stories - Define end-to-end business processes impacted, assessing both as is and to be - Identify customer channel impacts - Understand the impact on business operating model and training and embedding requirements - Identify key customer moments of truth and ensure they achieve the appropriate customer experience focus - Engage in the Proof of Concept exercise with the two selected vendors - Support the execution of FCB RFP including the assessment of the Proof of Concept performances from the vendors. - Assist with the drafting of a suitable Business Case to support the next phase of FCB - The input to the Implementation and Migration approach for the new package - Identify wider downstream stakeholders (e.g. Risk, Finance, Payments, Controls, PBB, Ulster etc.) who may be impacted and ensure their input to the requirements are identified and captured - An input to the High Level and low-level designs - Support the consolidation agenda by analyzing the current backlog and identifying new items that can be added - Define, develop and manage testing activities as required to support the consolidation work streams - Create a target business operating model and changes to the current operating model - business process re-engineering. Customer journey centric. - Identify Data Cleansing and product rationalization opportunities - Training plan for new system adoption including - train the trainer- - Create and execute communication plans to the external and internal customers - Identify CPB stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to support the Programme goals, managing their expectations and challenges and delivering activities on their behalf - Deliver Business readiness assessments
