Agap Technologies - Stream Lead - Avaloq Core Banking Platform

Key Responsibilities

In terms of the day to day you will be responsible for:

- Perform parameterization and customization in Avaloq Core Banking Platform

- Analyze business requirements and design / propose software solutions

- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code to ensure best possible performance and quality

- Provide technical expertise and support for internal and external stakeholders

- Mentor and coach team members

- Assist project / program managers in project planning & project strategies

- Analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops

- Process and design technical and business requirements

- Parameterize software/systems, including business modules

- Document the project into systems and processes for management review

- More experienced candidates will have these additional responsibilities:

- Independently drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission

- Manage a team of consultants by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities, and through mentorship

- Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well formulated solutions

- Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking

- Participate in business development activities including topic development, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and contract negotiation

Do you have?

- Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

- Passion to learn new technologies and drive major transformation.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills

- Ability to be nimble, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications

- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, CI, build processes, testing, and operations

- Strong bias for action

Are you experienced in-

- More than 5 years of development experience in Avaloq Core Banking Platform with over all IT experience of 14+ years.

- Participation in multiple Avaloq Core Banking Platform implementations in various business / technical streams

- Ability to develop high level software designs and solutions

- Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving

- Ability to articulate complex technical issues to business stakeholders

- Good understanding of core business processes and products in the private banking industry

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English

- Degree holder minimum

- Parameterization, and possess a good understanding of processes and products in at least one work stream

- Practical knowledge of programming languages, and knowledge in database systems and SDLC

- Good understanding of core business processes and products in the private banking industry

- Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues

- Short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience working on a product that hass been released for public consumption

- Experience with Agile development methodologies. ScrumMaster experience preferred

- Communicating with users, other technical teams, and project management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
