Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Manager Sales (Utilities & Drives). In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts for a range of products including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and industrial drives (AC, DC, Servo, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of these systems coupled with exceptional sales and relationship-building skills.
Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the industrial sector with a focus on Utilities and Drives systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and industrial drives.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Utilities and Drives products.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our products and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management, outlining progress against targets and recommending adjustments as needed.
