Description :

- We are looking for a Director, Data Engineer who will oversee all the activities of the Data Engineering team. As the Director you will apply your extensive knowledge to manage designing, development, deployment and defining of best practices for engineering scalable secure data pipelines..

Skills and Requirements :

- You should hold a degree in B.Tech/M. Tech and have 8-13 years of experience with at least 5+ years of working experience in any data driven company/platform.

- Should have experience in managing teams in areas of Analytics/ Data Engineering or Quantitative fields & designing a data engineering roadmap and executing the vision behind it.

- Experience in creating Large scale data engineering pipelines, data-based decision-making and quantitative analysis.

- Experience with Visualization Tools like Tableau, Power BI, D3 and exposure to code version control systems (git).

- Experience with complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data, as well as machine learning models based on unstructured, structured, and streaming datasets.

- Experience with SQL for extracting, aggregating and processing big data Pipelines using Hadoop, EMR & NoSQL Databases.

- Proficiency in engineering practices and writing high quality code, with expertise in either one of Java or Python or Go.

- Experience in Bigdata Technologies (Hadoop/Spark/Hive/Presto/HBase.), streaming platforms (Kafka), containers and kubernetes.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Big Data technologies and working exposure in at least one cloud platform on related data services (AWS / Azure / GCP)
