Designation: Zonal Manager - HR (West)

Key Purpose:

- Responsible for HR Operations, retention, employee connect, propagate & live our employee value preposition, work with RHs on People Engagement, performance management and talent planning

- This role is primarily responsible for effective implementation of HR initiatives for all employees in the zone and branches in order to improve performance and productivity as well as build commitment to the organization

Role Responsibilities:

- Represents the Face of HR at the Zones/Branches, communicates and reinforces the Employer Value Proposition through various HR initiatives

- Ensures the quality of business HR Delivery across AEGON Religare's operations across the Zone

- Implement all HR programs such as Induction, Performance Management, behavioral training etc. for all employees.

- Ensure effective cascading of HR policies & practices across the organization

- Address all concerns around policies, processes, performance, compensation and benefits

- Ensuring Voice of Customer is adequately represented so that suitable intervention can be designed and deployed

- Provide inputs on reward & recognition programs, incentive schemes etc. in order to enhance employee motivation and retention

- Facilitate employee engagement activities and support managers towards effective employee management and engagement

- Conduct engagement surveys and coordinate Focus Group Discussions on a need basis, in order to gauge employee perceptions & opinions

- Create forums and facilitate interactions between employees and leadership on a regular basis

- Develop a connect with employees at all levels to understand the employee pulse

- Work closely with managers in controlling regret-attrition and retaining top talent

- Responsible for Compliance with local statutes and appropriate action across the Zone

Key Internal customers:

- Regional Managers, Branch Heads/Branch Managers of the all sales Channels

Qualification

- MBA from a premier Business School like XLRI, SCMHRD, TISS etc.

Experience

Relevant experience of 4 to 6 years in an IT/ Banking/Services/Insurance industry preferably from a global organization with large operations. Should have independently handled HR operations for an employee population of 300 or more. Should have worked in a fast paced work environment

- Manage Execution: Is able to effectively and efficiently manage implementation of HR policies and processes in a consistent, timely, fair and transparent manner

- Empathy: Demonstrates empathy and works well with people and is able to relate to their concerns and issues

- Business Communication: Understands and is understood. Delivers message in one go. Is concise, clear and credible. Interprets information and shapes viewpoints. Guides Zonal/Branch level communication.

- Team Player: Has ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team. Understands his/her role in a team and contributes effectively. Shares information and maintains effective working relationships with other team members

- Knowledge of Labor statues: Understands the country's labor laws and regulations
