Job Description : Aegon Life Insurance Company is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Operational Process Risk Analyst. This role will provide opportunities to : - To build a career within the Operation Risk department and gain deep knowledge of how an ORM framework works within the Insurance sector. - Understand and implement modern operational risk management techniques - Develop a deep understanding of life insurance business operations - Work together closely with other departments in Aegon Life, including heavy involvement with first-line activities - Interact with people at all levels from different areas of the organization - Have a diverse and varied work coverage including report creation, presentations for senior management,, and process risk analysis. Key Responsibilities : Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to : - Create and maintain process maps for the organization - Develop and publish process control reports, performance measurement dashboards - Enable pre-assurance activities like making processes auditable, data quality assessment, etc. - Assist process owners in executing Risk Control Assessments and assist in developing risk management solutions, including review and testing of controls for company processes - Root cause analysis for operational errors and incidents - Follow up on corrective &amp; preventive action planning with process owners - Review process documentation across the organization and assist process owners in authoring new process documentation and closing gaps in existing documentation Position Qualifications : Required : - At least 2-3 years of experience with process reviews, process documentation, and/or audit-related work in Indian life insurance domain - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) - Strong attention to detail, as well as effective verbal and written communication skill - Problem solving skills - Data interpretation &amp; analytical skills - Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Visio - Strong project management skills and tolerance for ambiguity Desired : - Experience with automation projects and workflow management - Familiarity with Operational Risk Management tools designed to manage incident reporting, escala-tion, and tracking. - Experience in Business Process Reengineering, Process Design &amp; Documentation - Knowledgeable of different types of life insurance products - Ability to code in VBA/create Excel macros
