Job Mandate (To be used for SELECTION INTERVIEWS) : This role is responsible for managing SEO for Aegon Life's commercial SEO strategy across mobile and desktop properties

Key Responsibilities :

Organic Traffic Generation :

- Responsible for growth in Organic traffic based on on-page changes and off page campaigns.

- Create a roadmap of on-site changes that boost SEO on a continual basis and develop the specifications to convey it to the technical team.

- Devise ways to measure and analyze the impact of the initiatives.

- Understand the competition and devise strategies to outrank them on Google

- Manage timely implementation of SEO strategies while coordinating with multiple teams like SEO, design, agency, technical team etc.

- Actively monitor Google Webmasters and Analytics on a daily basis and resolve any issues/errors that come up.

- Put in place quality Link Building Strategies to increase website authority.

- Report SEO and traffic metrics on a weekly, monthly basis.

- Identify opportunities to bring in quality traffic which are more likely to generate revenue for the website

- Carry out keyword research to analyse the potential of new business areas and geographies.

- Stay up-to-date with latest changes in the best practices, algorithm updates, optimization techniques etc.

- Create XML Sitemaps and conduct technical audits frequently to find issues on the website.

Educational Qualifications : Please mention minimum grade/percentage, if over and above organizational guidelines, as well as names of institutes, if applicable)- Graduate / Post Graduate from reputed college

Years of Experience (minimum & maximum) : 4+ years of experience in SEO

- Should have handled SEO for a portal which figures in top 3 for 80% of relevant keywords

- Managed SEO for mobile websites

- Recent SEO certifications a plus

Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory) :

- Ability to take ownership, plan and execute systematically to achieve targets.

- Deep & Up-to-date knowledge on the happenings of the SEO world.

- Should be well versed with Google Analytics, Webmasters, Moz, Ahrefs and other SEO tools.

- Ability to learn quickly and work on newer and untapped areas of SEO.

- Ability to follow a data driven approach in each aspect, from suggesting changes to measuring the impact.

- Basic level of technical understanding on server, site architecture, sitemaps, robots.txt, HTML, meta tags

  Ability to document requirements with clarity for easy of execution by the technical team.
