About : Advice Party is a New York based bookkeeping, financial management and fractional CFO company with a quickly-growing roster of clients ranging from podcasts, fashion and music to tech and non-profits.

Designation : Director Of Finance (5-10 Years)

About The Role :

- We are looking for a finance manager who has proven financial expertise, and analytical and strategic experience to creatively solve financial and operational challenges.

- You must have strong quantitative skills, be well organized, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously since we work with clients from different backgrounds.

Responsibilities :

- Work with the company lead to measure and optimize the financial performance of our clients and of Advice Party itself

- Own the financial model, forecasting, cash vs. burn, and cap table for all of our clients

- Design and build reporting systems to accurately track KPIs including Churn, Expansion, etc.

- Implement solid systems for cost review and control for different clients

- Implement an easy to use finance software stack across the company- for accounting, expenses, payments and everything in between- to automate and control manual processes and derive insights quickly

- Oversee billing, invoicing, payments, and payroll in a timely manner

Requirements :

- 5+ years relevant work experience in finance departments especially in startups and matured tech companies (preferably SaaS), investment banking, accounting or a related field

- Strong working knowledge of SaaS metrics and business fundamentals

- Expertise with accounting, corporate finance, bookkeeping, contracts and other operational areas

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizing skills to sort the different bookkeeping requirements of each of our varied clients

- Multiple meetings with the company head each week to assign and follow up on tasks

- Based in India but flexible to keep a few hours of overlap with morning EST hours to work with the leadership team in the US
