Role : Data Analytics, data mining and management
Primary Purpose : Responsible for an offshore team of data analysts with implementation of data integration, analytics, data operations developers, data interpretation to India team.

Data Analytics :
- Effectively organize our analytics function and manage our team of data analysts.
- Responsible for coordinating analytics tasks for their organization, including creating effective strategies to collect data, analyze information, conduct research, and implement analytics solutions for their products or services.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Provide strategic direction to team based on regular needs assessment touch points with business leaders across team.
- Responsible for producing final data mapping documentation from the requirements of stakeholders.
- Effectively lead data mining initiatives to evaluate the quality of new and existing data attributes.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Collaborate with digital managers to select the relevant sources of information (primary or secondary data sources)
- Design experiments, test hypotheses and build models that improve media efficiency
- Develop processes and standards to ensure risk data is consistent and accurate.
- Establish and enforce best practices for work management, operations and on time and on budget delivery
Team Management :
- Identifying and implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members. Planning targets, monitoring numbers and achievement of overall targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in adherence to the pre-set standards.
- Interacting with employees to plan their development and evaluating the progress made and provide development opportunities, coaching and resources.
- Manage team assignments, capabilities and human resource requirements.
- Oversee team skill and knowledge development in professional skills and subject matter expertise.
Work Relations :
Internal :
- Reporting to Director - Data Analytics (US) for all functional.
- Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of India as well as other global offices. (24 X 7 work environment).
- Interfacing with Data Analyst team, finance, Human resources, administration team members and software development teams of for all functional as well as operationally at Pune & Ahmedabad office.
External :
- Interface with potential and existing vendors and channel partners.
Expected Key competencies :
- Experience in a Healthcare / Government Programs fields is strongly preferred
- Experience in transforming, cleaning, and manipulating raw data.
- 5+ years- experience in Data Mining
- 5+ years- experience in Data Analyst role
- Strong attention to detail
- Team collaboration to work effectively with direct and indirect reports
- Ability to take initiative and proactively offer suggestions and resolutions.
- Proficient in MS SQL Server platform, preferably in Management Studio
- SQL knowledge to import/extract data to/from databases
- MS Access and Excel experience
- Experience with X12 HIPPA, HL7 and related healthcare data transactions is preferred (i.e. 834, 837, NCPDP and LOINC transactions)
Experience : 7-10 Yrs, primarily in global ITeS space.
- Minimum of a BA/BS degree - preferred but not required in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields. Comparable experience will be considered for qualified candidates.
