Primary Purpose: Be a key management team member and a thought leader and augment the organizational growth efforts by bringing expertise in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, text mining, data discovery, statistical methods, database design and implementation. Defines and achieves the strategy roadmap for the enterprise; including data modeling, implementation and data management for our enterprise data warehouse and advanced data analytics systems.

Key Job outcomes:

Data Management Operations:

- Conduct workflow analysis and process redesign to improve efficiency and performance. Understanding of systems analysis, systems architecture, and systems engineering principals such as TOGAF - The Open Group Architectural Framework, Zachman/Taxonomy, or Gartner Methodology. Providing value added services to customers, giving information regarding various services and products offered and improving satisfaction levels. Monitoring overall functioning of the processes, identifying improvement areas as well as implementing them through concrete plans to maximize customer satisfaction level.

- Design, maintain and implement an enterprise data architecture strategy to ensure that company remains at forefront of technological offerings and solutions in health care industry.

- Communicate the data architecture strategy effectively to all levels within the company, from senior level management to associates.

- Provide technical and data leadership to the application development group, IT, and the organization. Depicts

- Work closely with other IT groups to coordinate current and future plans and activities including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate development projects that involve the computing environment, the coordination of software upgrades and the installation of new products.

- Works with team members and customers to understand the business requirements and business processes, design data warehouse (- DW- ) schema and define extract-translate-load (- ETL- ) and/or extract-load-translate (- ELT- ) processes for DW.

- Utilization of advanced data analysis, including statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and use of computational packages such as SAS, R or SPSS.

- Creates discover-access-distill (- DAD- ) strategies to bring significant value data understanding.

- Frames and conducts complex analyses and experiments using various statistical techniques.

- Participates in Business Intelligence projects, and works with software department and IT to ensure

- Implementation using both Agile and Waterfall methods

- Develops specific metrics for quality and consistency reviews of data across clinical procedure codes and geographic areas.

- Draws conclusions and effectively communicates findings with both technical and non-technical team members, providing active leadership skills across project team and business community.

- Experience in and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes (governance, measurement, information security, etc.).

- A solid understanding of key BI trends.

Project Management:

- Participate in all development projects to ensure the data architecture guidelines are applied.

- Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts.

- Establish and maintain regular written and in- person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent Data activities.

- Define and execute the data roadmap

- Understand, monitor and implement solutions to protect the privacy, integrity and availability of all data collected and stored within the organization.

- Maintain database performance and availability by identifying and resolving production and application development issues.

- Responsible for the development of best practices and guidelines for existing or new technologies within responsible area(s).

- Serve as key thought leader in the development of a global data roadmap, business intelligence and data strategy.

- Collaborate closely with business leadership to ensure continual alignment around the development, maintenance, access, use, security and retention of global data.

- Collaborate with information consumers across the organization to ensure that all critical information needs are optimally addressed; trouble-shoot and remediate where necessary even able to write queries in SQL.

Work Relations:

Internal:

- Reporting to Chief Operating Officer for all functional as well as admin issues.

- Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of India as well as other global offices. (24 X 7 work environment).

- Interfacing with Business development, finance, Human resources, administration team members and software development teams of for all functional as well as operational issues.

- Interfacing with employee committees and all employee through town halls and webinars.

External:

- Interface with potential and existing vendors and channel partners.

Desired Key Expertise for the job:

- Expertise in data architecture and modeling, relational database technology, transaction processing and data warehouse design.

- Expertise with MS SQL 2008/2012 SSIS/SSRS/T- SQL

- Experience with established and emerging data technologies and concepts

- Experience in leading data integration and change management

- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

- Should have exposure to working with US time zone interface

- US Health care domain exposure is a must.

- Extremely strong analytical and problem -solving skills.

- Proven strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.

- Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations.

- Highly self- motivated, self- directed, and attentive to detail.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment.

Experience & Qualification:

- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering).

- Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related fields is a plus.

- A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated Knowledge of medical claims, insurance, HIT product development, and/or consulting industries.

- Extensive experience in MySQL database, as well as data modeling, both logical and physical.

- Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, normalized and de-normalized models, handling - slow-changing- dimensions/attributes.

- Extensive experience providing practical direction on information and analytics platforms in conjunction with EDW tools and technologies.

- Experience using with project management, ITIL and SDLC methodologies.

- Solid experience with Data Warehouse and BI systems.
