Key Responsibilities:

Funds Management

- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment;

- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions

- Maintain banking relationships and to liaise with different banks & FIs for timely procurement of capital and capital required for business expansion.

- To advice the management on the selection of banks & instruments for arranging funds for the business activities

- Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure

- Arrange for equity and debt financing

- Invest funds

Budgeting

- Manage the preparation of the company's budget

- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances

- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.

Financial Analysis

- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company;

- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement;

- Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities;

- Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput;

- Compile key business metrics and report on them to management;

- Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis;

- Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management;

- Implement of long-term financial plans to achieve company's objectives;

- To ensure timely closing of books, planning deadlines and report requirements

- To evaluate continuously the economic and social factors and Govt. policies and interpret their effects upon the company's financial performance.

Skills & Attributes:

- Strong experience in income statement analysis.

- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

- A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

- Have a flare for numbers,

- Work well with people,

- Aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude

- Willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.

- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

- A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment
