Overview :

The primary purpose of this role is to partner with the various FP&A teams in embedding analytics within each team. The position will work hands-on in guiding the team in understanding & interpreting the numbers and proactively thinking about the analysis that will help the business units.

Role :

- Come up with thoughts on the adhoc analysis projects that could be initiated to help the business units

- Analyze consolidated results and partner closely with Business Operations and Business Finance to understand material variances to budget and historical trends

- Benchmark company performance

- Responsible for all product and market related analytics

- Proactively identify and communicate areas of risk and opportunity.

- The analytics should provide executives with the ability to do contingency planning, to consider alternatives and anticipate the impact of specific positive and negative events (not just a set of simplistic upsides, downsides and base cases).

- It should enable them to spot opportunities to enhance efficiency or redirect spending to more productive areas.

- It should enable people to use predictive analytics to make their plans and forecasts better informed and hopefully more accurate.

Skills and Experience :

- Graduate / Post Graduate degree

- 1 to 5years of experience - with proven track record in business analytics

- Experience in delivering high quality and in-depth analytics

- Proven experience of working closely with the business leaders

- A natural inclination to look for solutions, to methodically evaluate a situation and provide positive recommendations and drive issues to successful resolution

- Strong attention to detail and strong work ethic, a self-starter who is comfortable being a doer as well as a leader

- Collaborative work style with the ability to build strong relationships within a matrix environment

- Self-confident and outgoing with the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and time pressure

- Comfortable working with extremely sensitive data and ability to maintain a high degree of discretion

- Ability to work across time zones and willingness to travel, as required

- English fluency - verbal and written - with excellent communication and presentation skills
