Head - Business Operations - PPBU The Print and Publishing Business Unit, a $270M business unit, delivers a wide range of innovative and market-leading products addressing diverse market opportunities such as Digital Learning, Web Conferencing, Print Solutions, Technical Communications, TV Advertising & Authentication, and Web-application development. These products empower its customers to create and deliver best-in-class collaboration, learning, communications, print, advertising & authentication, and application development experiences. Primary functions within PPBU include product strategy, engineering, product marketing, direct & channel sales, solutions consulting, and product support. The Opportunity : The head of business operations will drive business operations and planning for PPBU. Responsibilities include driving and tracking strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives. The Head of Biz ops will also assist the PPBU VP/GM on executive reviews and strategic planning. The Biz Ops head could also drive strategic partnerships across the PPBU portfolio. Role Summary : At PPBU, we've experienced a wonderful period of growth as the direct result of trends towards hybrid working and digitization. To continue this trajectory, we're searching for a highly qualified business operations manager to work closely with our general manager. From day one, the individual will have an immediate impact on streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and business planning. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and inter-departmental collaboration. What you'll do : - Oversee strategic business initiatives in partnership with senior leaders within & outside the team - Impactfully storyboard key priorities & track to achievement - Drive annual business planning working closely with cross-functional leaders - Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation - Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity - Assist in evaluating and executing business partnerships What you'll need : - Strong understanding of SaaS operations - Experience with business planning and business development - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to influence a variety of partners - Excellent skills in designing KPI dashboards - Excellent skills in creating C-level strategic review presentations - High attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; ability to present at all levels - Must have the ability to prosper in a fast paced, dynamic, demanding and fluid environment and maintain a can-do demeanor. - Master's degree in Business Administration or similar field with a Business Program Management experience. - Certification in project/program management (e.g., Project Management Institute's PMP) a plus.
