Job Purpose:

To be overall responsible for the entire gamut of activities involved in the given product vertical.

Job Context & Major Challenges ( What are the specific aspects of the job that provide a challenge to the jobholder in the context of the Unit/Zone)

To help Product Head in formulation and implementation of strategic and annual business plan of Tea.

To help Product Head in execution for achievement of business volume, turnover and profit of Tea

To collect sourcing and market intelligence and provide timely feedback and reports of the tea market in particular to help in taking decision to achieve business objective.

To help Product Head in expansion of business for adding new business line/geography to the existing ones.

To coordinate internally and externally for smooth functioning of the trade.

To adhere to all statutory and internal compliances.

Principal Accountabilities:

Accountability

To enter into sales transaction and complete the transactions completely with buyers based on market trends and inputs from sales team/traders in Kolkata under the guidance of Product Head.

To completely manage the contract management process for profitable execution of all deals for Tea including supervising the payment negotiation process under the guidance of Product Head.

To collect and collate data for generating the required MIS for the transactions.

To generate enquiries from new buyers as well as to identify new sources from existing / new geographies.

To gather and provide market intelligence data and feedback as well as analysis for helping in effective decision making process.
