This is a newly conceptualized role within the office of the CHROs (Chief Human Resources Officer), for Apparel and Retail Sector of the Aditya Birla Group   The position reports to the Project Lead for C&B/ PMS/ JAE / HR ops for the Retail Sector  Will support all common initiatives across the Apparel and Retail Sector of the Aditya Birla Group with respect to Compensation, Performance Management, Job Evaluation, HR operations, shared services & analytics, HR policies, HR technology, Manpower Productivity and Talent Acquisition   Role spans three organizations- Pantaloons Fashion & Retail Ltd, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, Aditya Birla Retail Ltd  While each business has their own operating teams, this position will focus on developing consistency, synergies between the businesses in the Apparel & Retail Sector. the expectations from this position includes but is not limited to the following:   - To own/ drive big ticket/ fresh projects across the organization   - To support the business rewards team in running processes by balancing consistency and uniqueness of approach for each business  - Mapping of processes and policies across the three organizations and to facilitate knowledge and practice transfer between the three companies  - To be the primary source of external intelligence on people processes, policies and technology  - To lead compensation benchmarking, frameworks and guidelines at a sector level  - To initiate productivity studies   - To connect with respective stakeholders within each business on a regular basis, to keep abreast with plans and challenges in HR operations across the three businesses   - To laise with peers in the three Apparel and Retail businesses to identify areas of concern, support required. To effectively deploy solutions   Inviting applications from 2010-2012 batch (XLRI/ TISS/ SIBM/ SCMHRD/MDI/NMIS) with interest and relevant experience in these areas. Minimum relevant experience of 3 years, upto 5 years.
