Job Purpose:

New :

To Contribute and implement the overall strategy for achieving the targets including profits margins, tonnages and operational efficacies. Participate in Global Coal market as a trader, developing and enhancing relationships with world's best miners, Utilities and trading enterprises.

Sourcing - South African and Australia- 4.0 Mil Tons

Marketing - India, Pakistan, Middle East, Taiwan - 3.0 Million tons

Overall GP - 3.00 Million Dollars

Principal Accountabilities

Supporting Actions

Business Growth and Expansion

- Meet the Predetermined sourcing target of 3.5 million tons from South Africa and Australia and add new counter parties.

- On Marketing (India, Pakistan, Middle East and Taiwan) meet the targets of achieving volumes of 2 Million with PBT of USD 2.5 Mil by indentifying growth opportunities and implementing strategic initiatives.

Negotiate, Formulate and implement Annual Off take agreements with the Miners, Utilities and other Traders.

- Enhance relationship with Top Miners, European Utilities and Traders to seek their position.

- Timely Market Intelligence and market updates for optimizing the margins.

- Try to get as much flexibility as possible on terms and conditions which can save cost.

New Market Development

- Target Cement, Power plants and Sponge players at Dhamra Port, Middle East, Pakistan and Taiwan.

- Research; analyze new markets for entry strategy.

- Carry out due diligence including current suppliers and buying pattern.

- Develop new accounts by identifying customers in new geographies.

Quality Control

- Keep in touch with port and see that the quality loaded in right.

- Be in touch with Inspection agency to monitor the coal at both load port and discharge port.

Execution of the contract

- Keeping a close coordination with the internal departments like shipping and finance.

Implementation of SAP and Compliance of SOP

- Comply with and support systems & processes of the organization via real time updates in the system.
