Senior Manager - Alternate Business
Principal Accountabilities:
Accountability Supporting Actions:
- Development of New Products, more specifically in the Alternates space
- Develop new product & facilities ideas that can be launched and contribute significantly to AUM.
- Ideation, testing, drafting, committee approvals (CPT, Product committee), SEBI filing, handling queries,
- Launch Communication (presentation, product note, information mails, concalls)
- Competition tracking and market intelligence to be created and support the business strategy
- Developing communication content and increase sales & enhance market share
- Share key product notes with product USP, regular & timely feature & performance analysis that helps increase visibility and sales for that particular product
- Service ad hoc & customized product note/presentation/material requirement basis urgency & importance
- Sharing event updates, market views, macroeconomic updates for knowledge enhancement & product pitching ease
- Undertake new initiatives to sharpen & improve the product communication with focus on creating adequate business impact
- Sharing analysis vs other key funds in the market and benchmark indices as and when relevant
- Driving Business growth alongside business teams o Work with business teams and actively participate in the fund raising road shows from time to time
- Business Planning for the Alternate assets business
- Working closely with distribution partners & key clients
- Management of Existing Products, for the Mutual Fund platform o Manage modifications and enhancements in existing products to enhance the product lifecycle
- Timely repositioning & strategy changes in existing products basis study of the existing market scenario, competition research & analysis to help in pitching our product against competition
- Support business teams in fund raising activity through active participation in running concalls, participating in roadshows etc
- Work with Investments actively for ensuring that the product mandates are adhered to and that performance is on track.
- Peer group tracking and market analysis and intelligence for senior management team.
- New Initiatives & ideas
- Come up with & execute ideas and new initiatives for knowledge enhancement of sales team, which help generate additional business and help the team achieve its overall target. These initiatives could be pertaining to:
New Product Development:
- Change in product features / packaging / positioning
- Informative tools to empower the sales teams
- Product communication & information packs
