Adani - Head - Group IT Infrastructure & Operations

Job Purpose:

1) Manage Group Infrastructure Strategy & Operations in collaboration with BU CIOs & Partner(s)

2) Manage the Infrastructure Projects & core operations, focus on continuous improvement programs/initiatives

3) Develop & manage Strategic relationship with key vendors in Infra domain

4) Coordinate with IT Commercial team to manage sourcing and contracting process of major IT services

5) Develop the road map for group wide IT infrastructure components (e.g. D/C consolidation)

6) Oversee Group wide infrastructure demand and ensure their execution

7) Manage group wide IT infrastructure projects

Key Accountabilities:

1) Manage the Infrastructure services & operations to steady state

2) Oversee the Infra operations continuous improvement process of the ITO partner(s)

3) Manage ITO partner(s) performance on the infrastructure tower through competency reviews around key metrics

4) Oversee development and maintenance of IT infrastructure services catalogue; identify new IT services to be added and provide inputs for designing the same

5) Handle coordination of service delivery between multiple service partners and resolve conflicts among partners

6) Define guiding principles for definition and revision of SLAs; review and approve SLAs proposed by Service Manager(s)

7) Manage overall technical coordination and negotiation between Adani business stakeholders and IT Service Partner(s) for projects / service delivery

8) Supervise infra projects execution by IT Service Partners and constantly ensure alignment with scope, budget and quality

9) Develop IT sourcing strategy to meet long term and short term IT sourcing requirements. Identify optimal approaches for sourcing in liaison with Commercials team for Group IT Infrastructure

10) Support Group CIO in development of Group IT Infrastructure master plan and overall budget

11) Manage the infrastructure portfolio at Adani and ensure lights-on of infra operations

Academics:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field from a premier institute is required

Master's Degree / MBA in Information Systems or related field from a premier institute is preferred

Relevant Experience:

15-20 years of IT infrastructure management experience where progressive growth and supervisory experience has been demonstrated

5+ years of service delivery, vendor management experience

Prior experience managing a strategic IT outsourcing relationship

Prior experience managing a large IT infrastructure portfolio
