Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes within both POS and commerce sectors.
- Analyse market data to formulate strategies for penetrating new markets and extending our presence in the POS and commerce domains.
Business Development and Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute robust sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets across POS and commerce product lines.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to craft compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to the unique needs of prospective clients in both POS and commerce realms.
Client Relationship Management:
- Foster and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts in both POS and commerce sectors.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their specific business challenges, and recommending suitable POS and commerce solutions to address their needs effectively.
- Provide ongoing support and proactive account management to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and maximize customer retention across POS and commerce clientele.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in POS technology, commerce solutions, and industry regulations relevant to both POS and commerce domains.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and internal stakeholders to showcase the unique features and benefits of our POS and commerce products.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment on sales objectives and customer requirements across both POS and commerce product lines.
- Maintain regular communication with senior management to provide updates on sales pipeline, market trends, and strategic opportunities spanning POS and commerce segments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the POS and commerce industry.
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales, business development, or account management roles, preferably within the POS and commerce industries.
- Strong understanding of POS technology, payment processing systems, and commerce solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel as required to support business development efforts across POS and commerce markets.
