AD - Quality Assurance - Food/Nutrition

Major Responsibilities:

- Lead the quality assurance function at site consisting of areas like Analytical Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, Quality Systems, Validation and Compliance.

- Lead the functional area as a quality and compliance decision maker to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the products and/or services

- Responsible for managing and controlling of site QA Budget.

- Ensure that products are effectively inspected/tested and that product/process quality data are reviewed and are in confirmation with required specifications

- Responsible for site QA acceptance / rejections decisions.

- Responsible for conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures

- Coordinate with Regional / Division QA for product quality related issues and decisions as and when necessary.

- To endorse all GMP/QA/Production training activities undertaken at site and to ensure effectiveness and consistency.

- Ensure capability building and skill development plans are in place for site Quality personnel.

- Ensure the laboratories are operating effectively and efficiently with respect to timely testing and release of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

- Liaise with the HR in the recruitment and selection of personnel for the Quality Department

- Ability to work with regulator to understand BIS and FSSAI requirements and built as part of site Quality system.
