Associate Director- Process Excellence
Key Accountabilities
- Process delivery platform includes processes, tools and interventions to deliver business processes as a service in the Global Process Delivery Center (GPDC). Delivery platform includes activities like knowledge management, transition & change management, work flow, quality management, training, program and portfolio management HR practices etc.
The Process Delivery Platform AD will
- Direct, supervise and oversee the development, implementation and adoption of the process delivery platforms for various process services delivered by the CDS, India.
- Drive key activities like transition management, metrics definition and implementation and IT automation of transitioned processes.
Key Responsibilities include
- Plan, prioritize, strategize and develop the road map for key platform components
- Prepare business cases, proposals and presentations related to delivery platform
- Develop transition plans, project plans and training materials to support implementation of new platforms
- Develop templates, re-usable assets and best practices for on boarding processes
- Lead process transitions and support transition activities.
- Design metrics and measures for evaluating effectiveness of process implementation
- Define metrics for transitioned processes, track and monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements.
- Work with Vendors to evaluate tools, processes and methodologies,
- Lead Automation initiatives – liaise with the Quintiles technology teams (IT and IPT)
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience including 4 or more years of key CRO/Pharmaceutical/healthcare function e.g., data management, clinical operations, IPT
- Experience of process transitions, defining metrics and implementing best practices.
- Knowledge of Quintiles Clinical Systems & Processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Good team leadership skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
