AD/Director- Product Management - Recommendation Team - Discovery System

Job description

Recommendations is a core Discovery system that helps users easily discover the products they are interested in. As a Product Manager in Recommendations team, you will be working towards the mission of building the best personalized assist experience that makes effortless and engaging to our users throughout

Responsibilities

- Drive the personalization charter within Recommendations system and responsible for driving user engagement and conversion.

- Be the voice of the user and lead extensive user studies to understand user needs and identify current gaps in the system.

- Help to define a product vision and strategy.

- Write clear product requirements and drive the projects to successful completion. .

- Work with best-of-the-breed engineers to build high quality machine-learnt models to develop deep understanding of user taste, profile and needs

- Collaborate with partner teams, business teams and other cross-functional orgs effectively in driving the projects and be the point of contact on the team

Preferred Qualifications

- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.

- Strong technical abilities with experience working on data sciences and ML based models

- Thrives in a cross-functional and fast paced environment

- Strong communication skills

- Ready to roll up sleeves to spend time designing UI, analyzing data, setting up quality processes and guardrails, jumping into business analysis as required
