Acutus Analytics - Investment Analyst - Commercial Real Estate Domain

Investment Associate Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Private Equity / Investment Banking Domain (1-2 years)

We are currently looking for an astute finance professional interested in working in real estate PE, and investment banking.

The candidate will be working directly with the US-domiciled clients (portfolio managers and investment sales brokers) on Real estate investment opportunities. Candidate will be exposed to interaction with key stakeholders such as asset, and portfolio managers.

This Investment Associate position requires a highly motivated professional who is capable of :

- Acquiring knowledge of clients-operations and general strategy.

- Preparing comprehensive financial models, industry research, investor presentation and committee approval memos.

- Working directly with US based CRE brokers, and work on underwritings

- Driving analytics and tracking Key Performance Indicators for each asset in the portfolio on a regular basis.

- Preparing financial and operational reports for each asset in the portfolio along with reviewing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of each asset.

- Maintaining quarterly asset management reports which include actual vs. budget comparisons and narratives regarding changes in business plans and objectives.

- Analyzing and building qualitative & quantitative evaluation periodically to track the performance of portfolio.

- Supporting and monitoring investment strategies for each asset.

- Supporting the Acquisitions and Asset Management team in the analysis of new investment opportunities.

- In-depth due diligence of various new investment opportunities and monitoring of clients' existing portfolios.

Key Requirements:

- Strong technical knowledge about various aspects of finance and investments.

- Strong Proficiency in MS Excel (dynamic financial models, use of macros / VBA, index match, lookups etc.), and data analytics and visualization languages/tools python, tableau etc. (preferred)

- Be self-motivated, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, possess a great attitude, and work well in a team environment.

- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and communication skills.
