Fixed income analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with senior professionals in multiple locations to execute daily procedures around analytics on Fixed Income portfolio (duration, convexity, yields, Greeks delta, vega etc.)

I. Data collection, cleaning and data sanity checks,

II. Creating daily /weekly analytics and reporting

III. Ensuring accuracy of systems, calculation and fixing issues

- Create/Monitor dashboards using SQL, Power BI. Participate in scrum calls and remain updated about the development agenda

- Execute ad-hoc research/analysis as per requirements

- QC procedures/results to ensure accuracy of client deliverables

- Maintain process documentation and train new team members

Required background/Behavioral Competencies:

- MBA from a reputed B-school and/or B Tech from a reputed university. CFA / FRM is an added advantage

- 3 to 6 years of experience in fixed income analytics domain with good understanding of asset classes such as corporate and municipal bonds, ABS, MBS, CLO, derivatives and other fixed income instruments.

- Expert level understanding of analytics (Yields, Spread, Duration, Convexity, Delta etc.)

- Familiarity with Bloomberg required. Factset / Monis is added advantage

- Excellent communication skills

- A self-starter, excellent planner and executor

- Strong in analytics, data interpretation and problem solving skills
